People are most inclined to bicker when they’re wrong.

..by which, of course, Merlin Mann means that he is right and you are wrong and by writing a platitude about it, you are now not only wrong, you’re probably dumb too. OH NO WAIT AM I BICKERING NOW?!?!?

Anyone who knows me knows that I tend to eat up whatever Merlin Mann spews about writing and thought and creativity, but Jesus it annoys me when he says something that people disagree with and then he decides to strike back at them with a straw man in the form of an authoritative statement.
