Instapaper in Google Reader

I wrote a userscript. If you install it and go to Google Reader, you can press “I” or click on the “Add to Instapaper” button at the bottom of an article and it will add the article to your Instapaper queue without having to go visit the article on its site.

The first time you use it, it will prompt you for a username and password. If you ever need to change it, there’s a way to clear the stored values via the Tools->Greasemonkey->User Script Commands… menu.
