was thinking about oneohtrix point never recently and remembered that I first listened to Replica shortly after its release at roughly 3:00am on a Sunday as I was trying and failing to get some sleep on the horrible vinyl couch of MongoDB's NYC "break room" (not actually a separate room from the bleakest open-floor-plan space I've ever seen) as I was representing ("API evangelist") the startup I worked for at an overnight hackathon. Is that the best time to hear "Up" for the first time? I submit: yes
