This is the noise that drove me out of my apartment today. It had been going on for almost two hours when I decided that I needed to leave. My roommate Joe and I went down to the movie theater and saw Ponyo, which was nice, but is not in my Top 3 Studio Ghibli films. Afterwards as I was exiting the theater a man in his late 50s, maybe early 60s stopped me and asked me if I had just been in the theater watching Ponyo with him. I told him I had and then answered a few questions about Studio Ghibli and mentioned to him that most of Miyazaki’s films should be available for rental since Disney has brought most of them over on DVD. He seemed pleased.
When we got home, the noise had stopped. I’m glad I’m working in the office for the rest of the week.
