I don't plug Radio Backtracks enough

https://radio.backtracks.co is my internet radio station? It is a "slow playlist", a mixtape that broadcasts like a pirate radio station into the internet. I can't just give you whole songs on the internet in the age of corporate streaming services, can I? Genius dot com made me use Apple ID's forty-seven step login process to get Apple Music tokens to allow me to stream more than 30 seconds of a song. Genius dot com is the Vice dot com of lyrics websites.

But I do! I run an ICECAST STREAM and a .html that lives in /var/www in 2024 and is served by goddamn nginx includes an audio tag that loads that stream. you load the page and hit play and you're actually the one interrupting? it's mid-song, like if hypnospace outlaw let you stand up and turn on the radio in 1994

sometimes radio backtracks will stop working for a few weeks because I've forgotten about it and some logfiles from some other project I run in a renegade Docker container will have flooded the disk, causing cascading failures that eventually stop the server from communicating with the internet. Do I even remember which VPS this is running on? What ability do I have to log into a terminal and clean up the disk if sshd has crashed?

anyway go listen to radio backtracks for a while. Maybe I'll add 4 new songs this year and next year I'll remember to plug it again and you'll open it up and only hear one of them before you get distracted and navigate away
