She & TED

In my dream, I got to sit backstage at a session of TED talks, only I think they accidentally switched their booking list with a This American Life live show or something. The whole thing took place at an outdoor amphitheater and I sat backstage and watched Sarah Vowell and Jonathan Ames. The last speaker was Zooey Deschanel but while she was talking everyone got up and left. We sat on the floor of the stage and she cried about it but I didn’t have the heart to tell her that there was probably no reason that Zooey Deschanel should be giving a TED talk.
